Activity Planning and Daily Activity7 k2 B3 j) s/ F/ O) O5 p
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
. T4 D, b* }1 T; u+ G3 }: W- L• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. ' z* k5 y3 U% f+ Z1 C9 z- y0 r
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
7 r! \9 F6 X4 e6 u: h• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.* \% h8 u$ W7 [; M0 {/ Z
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.6 f( v% N0 e( {9 \. z. u- ?5 i
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.2 b1 B* \' x, `: {% U- c

The successful candidate will have:5 Q" e9 n X" i" F( r+ A4 X
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
; j9 ?9 H! U$ W0 m8 }/ O5 Z( b• Experience with children! J7 Z6 s7 d" x* U
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
/ D; _9 G( {/ A6 D. i) {• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring. U3 E% i3 I- |$ G) w
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.1 I+ S/ m3 [+ r9 Y1 x
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources8 p) }& s& N) j3 ^1 V( ^6 I
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
- `: p4 u# s2 j( M/ B6 S9 k• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check * e; `: n+ m& S( v# j
