1. Yes, you can start learning since the moment you got your class 7. But you can not operate the vehicle alone, you need a fully liscensed adult (can be anyone, doesnt have to be a driving coach) in the car while you practice or drive.
- _0 ^. }7 V# @5 ^3 D( l' X2. I dont know if they require driving school hours in Alberta. Check with the licensing registry. It could be that you don't have to go to a professional coach here to get class 5, but getting educated from a professional driving school may help to reduce your insurance.

4. Personally, driving school is necessary but not guaranteed. You need way more practice than that! Get your friends who have class 5 license to practice with you as much as you can. |
