Receptionist

A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors- M$ T. N4 p6 N6 ?! e& Z" C! p. v
• Answer multi line telephone system- { y4 f8 m. J2 J& P$ n
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries: K& [2 H. b( W& Q; e B3 f! H
• Arrange courier services for all departments: s( @) H3 v! ]0 W
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
: j4 M8 B& ?* S. ~• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration) b5 }& v( _$ h2 Q# D4 i2 J% r
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 5 c6 E; ?" z+ p2 k& x
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution6 w& b$ t) k: ?) l- E
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 0 t* Y% ~4 j/ C0 W2 d( Y" U
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested# p/ R C/ c/ v* Y9 u8 m

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required% }: L {# d, T5 b+ s5 ]

Qualifications:$ [7 d+ m) O% L" X8 S! v6 w

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures( }6 i& m- x5 _
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4 Z) y. `* k% F+ f• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
! L$ ]& @5 a& W' e6 T• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
