& c0 _8 |* F7 l1 Z* SKEVIN KERN，出生在底特律，不可思议在出生18个月的时候，开始练弹钢琴。四岁时候，开始在一个私人指导老师的教授下学习弦乐和古钢琴。然后，14岁时候，做了职业的首次演出，并且与其他伙伴成立了一个小乐团。他在底特律交响乐钢琴家Mischa Kottler指导下学习 ,并且上了密歇根大学的音乐系。受其钢琴类主席罗伯特.赫德指导。
# r9 N0 B6 ~6 D: s8 I- p凯文与著名的钢琴家 Jaki Byard，乔治.鲁塞尔，弗雷德.赫斯奇和威廉.托马斯.麦金利一起学习。在毕业以后，他在波士顿生活工作了 10 年。# z8 K& G/ h7 P" ]6 [% D \
