请教:如何选购奶酪和牛油

超市里有许多品牌的奶酪和牛油,请问如何选购?怎样吃比较好?

说说英文名吧,奶酪是不是cheese?如果是的话,有几种吃法一是cheese片,做三明治时,夹在面包里吃,有一种是细条状的,可作比萨,还有一种是粉状的可把它加些开水煮成糊状然后浇在烤好的土豆上,也可把cheese粉散在煮熟的意大利通心粉上吃。还有一种小孩喜欢吃的(不到)20公分长的cheese棒,一包里有很多根,就当零食吃。如果你买回的是立方体或长方体的话,就自己动手切成需要的形状,好象有专门的工具卖,其实中国人聪明,就用菜刀也能解决问题。至于黄色与白色的区别我不太清楚。请其他同学补充。

2 |7 g) Z( G' W& i% W* t, P3 }! }4 W5 b你说牛油是哪一种呀,在国内用于起火锅底料。这里是不是butter?如果是的话,分两种,一种叫butter(块状),一种叫margarine(塑料碗装的)就是人造黄油。在洋人的食谱里常用到,至于中国用法,据说butter可以用来作馒头,成为奶油馒头,margarine嘛,烤面包时用,可用面包机烤好切片面包后,再直接涂上,也可涂上后,用烤箱烤几钟。后者好象更好吃些,小心发胖!!- g' K. v; D& @4 a5 q1 s# N

% h! h% u7 V# }# f4 E! ECheddar or American cheese (yellow or white): for code sandwich, cubed small chunk of snack, burger or cheesy casserole (baking), the color doesn’t decide the flavor. The cover of the cheese should say: sharp; mild, which refer to the degree of the flavor.3 y2 Z9 m, t! v8 ]% t5 M

Mozzarella cheese (white, no yellow color): for pizza or Italian cooking
4 }2 ]% Q. Y1 ]: O/ i) S: q& C7 [4 s
4 ]9 w2 G% v! Z8 v' p(Those are the cheese I can handle but many others I tried but no way to enjoy,  like the following: )

2 E. v0 N+ K  y! r" [. TSwiss cheese (white, with holes): mostly for hot sandwich

Parmesan cheese (almost like powder): on top of dishes, mostly pasta.

Butter is a lot simpler:

' `6 S* `7 u; eButter stick (regular or light): 1. for cooking (just like the oil we use) or baking (e.g. bread, cake, or casserole), 2. you can also use it for bread spread
$ v+ A% i7 |0 a. |9 X. w- jMargarine( soft butter): mainly or spread, on bread, corn…

9 j! D0 f# q5 [5 z/ P! GCream cheese: also for spread, mostly on bagels; sometimes used for some bakery too
