Position Title: CNC Operator
3 ^8 R" g$ ?- m% V3 l( @* uJob Description/Duties: Review existing hand drawn machine blueprints. Compare existing blueprints to currently produced machines. Operate machines to become familiar with all facets of machine use and operation. Recommend possible modifications or alterations to existing machine design. Become Familiar with AutoCAD Software, including basic design principals and techniques. Redraw existing blueprints using AutoCAD. Become familiar with Toolpath Cam Program. Assist in operation of CNC Equipment used to recreate machine components, in order to become familiar with CNC Operations. Transfer AutoCAD Data to Toolpath Cam Program including all necessary changes and conversions. Assist in operation of CNC Equipment as it pertains to newly machined components. Assembly of new components, to assess fit and compatibility of new design. Make necessary changes and alterations to new drawings if necessary for proper fit and operation. Transfer of all completed and tested drawings to print and digital storage media. Completing log of all changes made from existing drawings to updated drawings. Daily cleaning of workstation.
