There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
& A& D5 t' F, A5 S. o+ n( Y7 B+ oPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.3 f# v& Y" H& j* q
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.: e* L H" ]8 E8 u2 }0 N' g

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
+ U6 l$ G% f$ h8 H6 \, MGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
! v! r2 q; z9 j4 n! gThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.# c1 z4 L) [: h: |, p9 V8 E

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
