There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
7 P! i# [# H: r$ u" P* QPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
5 N' ~, S" l1 X0 m/ nIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.: I1 M/ }8 H% a; ?

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).4 X, G6 p$ X* s/ G* u- U- H
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.

There are also two Provincial Parks within an hours drive- Wheatley Provincial Park(closest), and Rondeau (farther to the west) if you wish to camp. |
