Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.

• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

3 ?: M/ m( S$ t5 R7 m! i7 Z0 f! T• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.

6 X0 l: g. \5 N) Z; ?! R. O: t• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
2 w  x/ M6 I, g" {/ ~4 J1 @• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
; }6 c  W; w1 ^1 q• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
3 l3 R6 ?4 ]" y' j1 ], S• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
; m5 D2 w( _7 M, h- i. r• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
  h' J( J6 G( }  W0 s( u: U4 S• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
5 e- R/ t7 Z% X( R" K' I• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
5 z( [. Z0 ]9 q% X• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
) l1 m* e" a& J; G• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
) H. a4 Z& N: k! d• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
' T1 |8 _( }  b4 [6 R5 ^0 O• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
& n, T8 Q; I' d, _* @• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
# \# Q( Q  S  f- ?0 e• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
# Q, d7 |  |7 C0 O! g6 H2 H• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
: w) b0 T4 G% e7 z  Q• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
2 h, W7 C: ?/ r. B. A% d3 C9 ?• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
9 [1 E5 k5 a3 {( M9 _/ h• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.


4 d+ s/ m* G" u) J" q$ h2 E3 w# DEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
! I; t) D$ D4 \1 P5 H; v" l• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
! w" F4 D' U6 E) F. J) U• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
