EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

( Y$ I/ W( B- _7 C6 A9 tPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

. i8 {# W6 p& ^" M: Q/ YOfficers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

) [% `; {( `; l3 DPolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
