8 D  k( u5 x* [4 n2 oSupervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
* w8 N  `' J$ c! EAssign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
/ ~6 v) _) w2 p+ vAuthorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
% p% \. h/ n( u; ySell merchandise to customers
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
. f6 e6 N+ l  g$ nMaintain specified inventory and order merchandise
6 G) m( ^/ x$ E3 N8 b9 r2 B0 BPrepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
) r- `" J, A/ G9 [5 O, A8 |Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff
