Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.

•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations 0 v2 C: u. H6 T1 u; j9 H. N
•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings . s* K- n# H% A; |8 ~6 c) x
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach + W: L* }$ }+ r, J4 t  w
•        Promoting TBL products and services 1 d7 R3 H0 p4 Z+ V2 j. v
•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance 0 P  K; T9 o; i8 I
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables + l4 G" D, z3 E/ s7 q7 T! @! u
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta
& p4 [) P8 M/ n/ B6 `. e6 B•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry( P, s: P( h7 g
•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program . L. z$ r0 Q$ M% |( {: q
•        Arranging catering for various meetings 3 P( [( c1 U& f: M( o7 ^
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office ; @6 f& Y& l" j6 H) i$ I7 v& b
•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

Education and Experience* S7 Q' z. n. K

•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience 7 P+ [8 j0 {3 S# B( O& G
•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling" L( L8 t( d$ |. y+ h/ @
•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.7 k' c2 d2 L8 V8 c9 o
& k' u$ w) c2 O& |

        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter

        Continuous learning is essential to perform job effectively
