This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
% ~1 i+ `5 Z* {• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support; L/ V5 H; Q. U$ A+ N2 {- E
• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
2 Z9 [4 A5 _$ i% p• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts1 d8 [ c% E3 m# I( D5 ?
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments3 W* a8 x8 }( w; f$ A
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams! S; a9 B6 O+ t' Y
• Autocad and Microstation drafting
1 p4 }6 S a. F8 r, ^$ P• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
7 j6 `: d! `% J% j0 i0 d2 K• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator7 ?% Y0 V7 ]# j* y' P
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.0 j) c+ P) V& P% D

Education / Experience
1 ~$ X8 G% h) s. M/ ^( h1 w" M! ?• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
0 P" a7 K' p& [1 w• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator# @% c/ l" y' c" l+ q& _" H
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered) `/ e2 W. _3 l, ^
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
7 K/ c2 X+ F) P/ T% j2 C- j• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset' l. f. ~# V0 |2 I0 a8 O0 l
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
