This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
8 J) U$ u3 H, k& l: y$ v d• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
3 Y' E$ r' |, u7 Y. Y* w/ [, `6 e+ j• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel5 T0 B+ ?- M0 y4 Y! q. }; l
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
5 r5 T. c: h& G4 P$ c9 m+ }• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments* V N! o! ]) x. r
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

2 y& p& ` [# G2 j• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
- I# e; ]: M4 N4 Y$ c7 a, H+ u' I& v• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator" z( k9 W- W" M6 P/ V q0 W
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.

Education / Experience' m0 ^/ g1 Z+ a" w2 b) O( `7 T
• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI& \7 C! J$ g) } i$ Y
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator% ?- |4 e1 }% B6 A0 M+ V$ ?
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered) b, C. S8 u6 ~1 E. Y
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
8 B! I# Q- m7 J5 u• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset; b N7 [3 {4 u" }9 b! \
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
