Due to the unexpected national shortage of the H1N1 vaccine, Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health and Wellness will target immunization to Albertans at high risk.

* Both parents, or one parent and one caregiver of infants under six months of age;- r& g2 V) R0 M% Z9 `
* Children under 10 as of November 1 with chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes);
# o) U0 A1 J, u) b; o * Children over six months and under five years as of November 1; and
( C7 i5 b+ M3 C; s% f8 c- c) E8 g * Pregnant women. 1 O Q% v+ z, ]9 s9 Z

On November 12 and ongoing, new groups being added include:

* People with chronic conditions aged 55 to 64 as of November 1;, E2 R/ P# p! j; Y* {
* People with chronic conditions aged 10–17 as of November 1. (Combined with the group added November 6, this group ranges from 5 to 17). T5 e# J" |8 O% s; N; W

On November 13 and ongoing, immunization groups will expand to include:
