院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享% M: |/ M; C/ e6 p4 `# `. }( P

1 g2 x2 \: k, g2 t: M( x3 cups saskatoons 750 ml % K5 X1 a, a0 T# k
1 cup water 250 ml
) q, w( H; b1 v8 z- h3 e7 F2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml
/ p3 j5 [0 ~( [( L" N1/2 cup sugar 125 ml
" U( \4 C3 Q4 s3 ~juice of 1 lemon* 1

Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum! e$ F" t9 \8 y- v

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
