院子里的浆果熟了,劳工说这是nanjing cherry, 没听说过,我就找了一个saskatoon的果酱方子。做出来很像山楂糕的味道,但是酸甜更可口,可抱着瓶子大吃,与有心人分享& c% q7 \; R% X& Q

3 cups saskatoons 750 ml ( P0 s u' Q/ F: u3 @
1 cup water 250 ml # G! n/ _" g& f$ p% F3 M
2 Tbsp. corn starch 30 ml
) S; y/ h. {: J- C% H% Y1/2 cup sugar 125 ml 3 z7 V! B8 [/ a2 W0 _; N
juice of 1 lemon* 1

Place saskatoons in saucepan with water and bring to boil. Simmer 5 minutes, slightly crush berries with a potato masher. Blend cornstarch and sugar, add slowly to saskatoons, and boil until thick and clear. Add lemon juice and cool.

Slice a pound cake or Orange Loaf** (, spoon sauce over two slices, top with Cool Whip and another dollop of sauce. Yum!: C$ d' B) A' B" p; R

*Grate the rind from the lemon and store in freezer for making “S’toons ‘n Stuff Muffins”.
