Responsibilities:- l( D+ c- J: T1 N2 M C6 p
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth1 \/ O% e6 u2 X7 I
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling+ v$ {% l% _( ~2 D
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups" S' `" {& ?3 l' h0 k
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
' U7 F8 U8 [, o- D6 d- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
* a1 ?1 q7 g; ]0 {' ~- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences( p0 i1 V6 j' Y! ?5 `" v$ q& K B) a
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
3 [1 e2 f9 |$ _. ], M1 f$ A, r" p- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
1 \) q& ?+ k7 S3 p/ j$ B ]: D- Experience doing program development
. g( T% ]/ _& l8 q& h1 ?- Strong organizational and coordination skills
# I' o. x) A5 W* o' w- Self-directed and able to take initiative8 }' G0 y+ N7 s# n+ }# X( t0 g
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset

- Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
