5 t' N/ V* ^" T+ F4 nTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

Responsibilities:
-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
5 B: B6 v9 e1 Q/ z8 h) c1 V$ P-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
2 M+ @  d# e/ \$ ]# o% i-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
3 i% {: y' a& T$ C! j0 C2 ^-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health


! g& P$ O$ ~/ ]) O3 l# V' pKey Qualifications:
-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
8 W& h$ u1 h( @-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
' |' E+ @! G( @" x-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
$ N7 ^% H) H2 K3 o-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

Assets:
-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
# r; e9 Q- f- V# e' Q-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
5 c/ D& N& V1 p8 ]-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
9 C, b' l$ b/ J' W9 z7 w6 ~5 p-        Skills in marketing & promotions
( ]5 D5 q4 \8 F' k4 `-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
