几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic- P6 t* O9 s0 m+ _/ W) F: d
5 D! @) \+ f+ Z# v+ ^# `5 P
这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。

, Z( O F. c7 a
ironic:$ |* d4 i( V, v R9 v
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?7 F( @! d+ V& S# Z& H/ M" ~
there, I was being ironic
: z3 U. }# |# ~! m# p J8 }& mironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!): }0 D0 s: K) S1 o. M
sarcastic 有更多感情色彩,有主观上的一种伤害,攻击的意愿,是坏的intention9 X8 A* v4 ]1 S; E+ U/ Z+ N5 [
+ S% K8 C. R& F& g6 I* K, u' l
还拿如花的例子说,这个情景对话两个词都能用到:
# A2 P6 ~( F* y如花: hi 美女
9 a+ C& {1 k% k- s U& l& v0 g美女: are you being sarcastic?
7 |* A6 Y8 I. B0 O如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!2 T. U+ D9 G, M) P* }
美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
