If you are going to do some jobs on high voltage equipment, you shall follow the proper isolation procedures just like 3# NorthernWolfy said above.

# j$ ]) U/ Q% R9 F1. With single line drawings in hand and must be TWO journeyman electricians.
) l" G! G0 w* I2. Permit for sure, and do not forget to put your own isolation lock to power supply side or on site lock box.
( O* Q1 ]) |& f9 a3. Make sure all the high voltage equipment and PPE are UPDATED. Like arc flash suits, high voltage gloves, high voltage testers, and no defects to the ground chain. |
