On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

5 c( _/ {3 z N$ H' B2 VBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:
! v5 o: t: L4 `4 F1 t! }
, t+ O9 }& h9 dlearning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut 7 q* a+ N% C, o& F
digging for and examining fossils 4 u8 j, C5 _( i( d `- `2 G' L
exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
* ]( V! B, a% |investigating insects ' o+ e- N9 s) ?( c h4 u" {
and much more!
9 A6 |3 k3 w- H& o“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.
