On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

7 G: E/ a- D( \- OBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:0 H- E3 a. A. S' w

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut " D: a! A) K: I# J
digging for and examining fossils
1 b5 N" G; K ]) o; c2 v* Lexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth 3 a$ w$ i7 w0 h9 K; j. f
investigating insects % D1 ^* k2 x+ Q
and much more!
- R5 S' h" ]$ M“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
