Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:
; T+ [! @3 `0 W7 P8 k After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again. 9 ^/ ?% C# x2 x. L# K1 P
It is a cycle.* p- k, o9 e3 X( w9 p

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.

% T1 c+ s( @0 e# P0 SThe next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
8 z( B& \8 Y: x) g2 X! \% zThey have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again. g4 {. u; n4 B# w5 Q
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. 7 E' I8 c& G+ Y; U
