Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:6 h, g! @# k3 B# R* `9 [: D4 ?
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
/ ~5 A! @6 G/ q f; R+ g" ?! \7 cIt is a cycle.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
5 p2 _ B, T6 F: ^$ jSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.
( P. b* ]! _5 g9 _& x+ r% X+ DThe problem should be inside the bucket.

" B5 @/ n( Y& I, ]When the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal." e" T( N! Y; z. y( ~
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.: d2 P% _3 ~8 A, b, ~" l/ o
Confirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.! }) C7 M# b, R% Y2 W8 s
. r- H/ J- V7 iThe next thing we can think of is the coil, we took the coil out to have a close look.
( p% k$ W+ p# ]7 O- l. AThey have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again." h7 ~5 m, ?- y0 t& J* Z& I
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working.

4 l1 T5 [3 U1 E3 G+ N ~' tThe coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
