( t) v8 A- Z8 fResponsibilities:
-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program (ages 6 to 15)
" U( j' T, y9 B1 \! p) F, C-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit and train volunteers for summer programs
-        Budgeting and record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
$ r# F! J( i9 d9 T-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

% t: c6 V9 ?4 {- s- Q. |- nQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
# |8 Q! L1 M6 R; t  G4 w-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
/ M  @$ m3 b; X-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student to post-secondary institution in Fall 2010

) l- {) K) {' u' @* p+ Q  n) W1 |-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
