3 [' k; M$ S9 @The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.0 _% _% ^3 `+ Y7 n& ^/ V. c1 r

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
# H1 {0 a( M( }6 ^$ F§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution
3 l" U3 b! m. X4 W§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
$ G0 W# g9 y' S* N( f/ v3 [§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times- ]- K: D* W4 _( O
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
- U8 R0 F- P+ b0 Q' ?/ c; O! d§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert8 j3 b8 D9 x* E* k- X( J. F
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties  g" q9 e9 D/ `
§ Special projects as required
) Q8 @9 H" I) k) w7 b§ May be required to provide after hours pager support for emergency trouble calls6 g' K5 u0 h) L1 a+ _7 y. ]- Q- C- m

: Z' V7 _4 @7 C§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience& c8 f/ D; C! w7 R+ }
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision
" R7 w# ^5 h7 B2 i9 I§ Fundamental commitment to customer service
  [$ C9 v5 P% \$ u§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues
6 v' N8 }* ~6 G) l# ]§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware* _5 K0 c3 \  n
§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software
, t- f, D8 o! s- }§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

. y+ z7 D3 O3 N$ o7 U0 xThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage a stable local IT environment 7 K) A; H# D7 s, F+ t
§ Manage and coach staff in IT group8 s8 I6 O- n! ~
§ Oversee and provide small systems technical support
- A2 P9 q( R: B§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives8 a( W( E$ ^0 O* T
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
& B/ B; A. |0 H2 A§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation; _. y& K" ^% H9 b( q$ D
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to* L2 ]: w9 p! e/ ?
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times
! Q+ b& ^% B- p. S$ ~+ W, g8 ~§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
9 }" H9 S7 ?: R, Y2 g2 W8 A. s* F§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures
8 h2 M; C% ]: E, L: h, C§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan( ^1 x# Y2 S! g& B9 Q
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk1 t2 L3 j; Q& \3 b6 @
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert
7 Y( |( t7 |) O  F( o$ s§ Provide technical and procedural recommendations to management
) }$ }7 X# x, d# ]§ Manage user ID request and approval process in conjunction with Director of Finance
! ]3 Z) X  y, N§ Implementation and support of small systems technology initiatives in conjunction with SYSCO Canada IT
7 d# h' F; \0 B# y# B§ Coordinate and support end user training8 Y6 j" T+ V6 [# o6 Q2 g
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with IT related suppliers and service providers
2 A9 R% G, U, b/ A7 I( g1 m§ Collaboration on development of internal intranet and external website maintenance
$ K; H5 b1 U9 p$ \, f§ Manage all printers in the building

+ W7 h4 n' a6 {5 g% k在国内应征的话还敢。在这里既没加拿大经验,英语也不好,想都不去想这些位置啊。
