. X. A% u! x+ m. K& nAround 2:25 p.m., Edmonton Fire Rescue received two 911 calls to 50th Street and 67th Avenue. One was reporting a fire, the other reporting that someone had been injured at the same location.$ ]0 J/ @6 u( ]4 c* ]

Fire rescue's Tim Wilson tells iNews880 there was a flash fire in a lab where the chemical Toluene is housed.- J* V' K; ` X, z8 r$ y! g& S% o# y

"The fire took place in a room at this facility that did have some sort of flammable products stored in there," says Wilson, "and somehow, this ignited and caused a fire."

Wilson says fire rescue responded with trucks from three houses because of the flammable chemicals housed in the building.

# G/ t X- J6 v6 _: o0 W: ?, C- d"We had eight units on scene, with about 30 firefighters," he says. "The fire was out in just under 45 minutes, and was under control in 15."
