As the successful candidate for this position you will provide legal secretarial services to Compliance, Ethics & Privacy Officer and Legal Counsel as required, in the Enbridge Pipelines Inc. Law & Regulatory Affairs Department, specifically the compliance section, with respect to administrative matters to ensure the efficient operation of compliance matters. 9 S' h( u$ L5 y' |1 l# q
Responsibilities , t' w) _ j' ]" \# h+ o
Provide timely, accurate and efficient administrative support while handling a high volume workload by drafting correspondence, standard form documents/policies/reports and power point presentations; attendance at committee meetings; preparation and circulation of meeting minutes and reports to Compliance Officer & executive, and transcribing dictation.

% e* A6 _& O, |; `Support the efficient internal operation of Compliance Officer's files by creating and maintaining an organized, standardized and well-planned filing system to ensure that files and information therein are easily accessible.

Communicate and work with all members of the Law & Regulatory Affairs Department by taking a team approach to problems and their solutions, ensuring effective lines of communication exist within the department as well as other departments within EPI.

R ]# `3 Z7 T% U' P( UAssist in the coding of invoices; expense reporting; time keeping. - e2 G: ~9 C: I, v# C& X. z

# Y f! r; I8 H+ ]. C5 V, lOrganize Documents on E-link; assist with LMS and on-line training materials.

Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the Compliance, Ethics & Privacy Officer (i.e. conduct basic legal research).

9 p4 B$ g& x; C6 y8 c8 b( _ Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, tact and diplomacy in dealing with senior level internal and external contacts as well as highly confidential and sensitive information.

Legal Assistant Diploma and/or a minimum of 3-4 years experience as a legal assistant for senior lawyers on complicated legal matters. , p3 N6 t0 }3 X0 a) ]) k+ E6 V

The position requires an individual who is able to handle a high workload and provide responses on short timelines.

Strong computer skills required (particularly Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, PeopleSoft, Sharepoint, Markview and Livelink) and ability to quickly learn internal information management systems.
