$ G, J4 e3 i" }9 }& YReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

5 K& \6 T& A3 G% b" JKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
: a; h* V' N2 Y        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
. ^4 s7 K' C% f7 U3 N  @6 {        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

/ b. S. \! \+ n+ O% ~: mQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
! A, v) R) T; ~9 E9 e1 ?4 c•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
6 V4 y" w: l' i; c7 n9 M; ?•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
8 \! s+ [. l( o) y4 N* E; a/ U•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
! S8 c- `' M8 |- o; ?•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
' o" ~+ x5 s; j" h•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
7 M. n# q* V6 i/ e$ X4 m; p( g•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
