# D2 ]% S; f% J/ {3 U# }3 UReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
2 Y. z  X. o; a8 L        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
; {" I5 m* R# P+ _; ?2 u        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
& ]5 ^" r$ ^+ \( |9 S        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
* ]& ^! L* {  |5 i0 q
' f3 @5 {5 Z6 D/ R* y  e  dQUALIFICATIONS:
/ \$ ~% |3 r) d. K/ l•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
2 L7 i4 s) j3 I" J7 n•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
1 M3 q. Z( ~5 K6 z3 ~4 R2 O•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
! ]8 G) B  p! i9 @" P. ~, m0 `•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
/ W0 E5 U$ ~/ T' R% S•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
