Department Information  
* I$ R! Q; F3 x1 r; T4 r5 [" e Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
Responsibilities  
% c' ^4 A- ?$ [, b/ y, n7 K Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

0 D3 R8 s2 m6 h! H( U3 z% K" P5 BWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

8 I1 C! x6 x& C. }$ gLiaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

2 [$ V! t; `" z" _, Q+ d% S; U9 ~Working closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

: z( ?; `9 A7 V4 f, I. wWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

3 \3 O1 N: m/ P0 Y# b/ b  BSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

9 v: B' U* v& [+ r10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

' @8 m- A0 A! g7 Q# M' pGas industry experience preferred;

Extensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

9 i5 J0 k- ~: g: yExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;

Strong business acumen, collaboration and interpersonal skills;

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
