Department Information  
  q" f) O* D% O6 a) t2 T Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.  
' Q) I; S  R# e, _: Q1 o Responsibilities  
Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

4 a: }! `8 j* fWork closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;
' r6 a& M# h4 I1 U  e: n: d( p
Ongoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

2 M9 Q- ^) D" u5 z6 J$ a; CWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

Work closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
7 \& K9 Y: V9 o: |- i8 f3 zManage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

" x" V9 g8 b3 M$ O% ]: F6 OSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).  
Qualifications  
Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.
) J' E3 i5 J- g1 P* o
6 G  H, a/ j6 f' N5 f10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

Gas industry experience preferred;

  `+ w9 L; P, C' Z' wExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;
