Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
# {2 M! d7 J+ ?: a7 l4 Soperation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
4 Y0 U3 ~: b+ m3 ^6 N! s' kthat the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
# N- s5 V! g5 Z+ Scustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
8 ^8 R, [& ~' WDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
' i9 V) ?; d6 n$ a• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
# F; U- a/ i  S* [' o• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
+ ~: O0 u* K' n3 ]& ~/ ?  C8 B• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
8 c1 z6 E' z* J$ m- W; i• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
+ _) {- c% F7 K' d5 N# h7 K• High School graduate
0 s4 J0 w: t+ a% c5 b5 R' z4 Q  @2 k• Criminal record check.
" e( B, t  d3 s: A, f7 z4 Z• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
6 s. [1 d* {/ O• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
+ Y( z/ ]8 c! x) {* V3 k4 P7 V• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
$ L. e* ]8 ]5 J% W• Comfortable climbing ladders
