SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
4 R: t3 _# H& j  Ucustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities

5 {% T' b; M$ q5 {7 i, E$ H• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
( H1 ^3 x1 |& V* v; v" t& j- b( e. z• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
! I3 y1 j8 K* \1 s% ?7 A• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
. O1 b, ~" C. X9 ?) r  H2 _5 flooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
4 H: i2 @* N7 ~' Q• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
+ }, @; u, k6 v- H% w6 f' ]! R• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
/ u; U1 {$ `: i$ H• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
5 T$ G1 u8 a4 S% ^• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
0 Y+ N9 m' W+ S• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

9 w: c, [2 ^8 |' X! a+ Y# T. L" o6 [* f• High School graduate
2 k' B" S9 w+ X+ Y( I• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
5 B8 e/ t/ S! T2 o/ y$ A* i/ K• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
6 l5 E/ _5 w2 b$ _+ M+ T3 ]Working Conditions

( N' a  ]. D* e/ H* l! ^• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
