Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
" I* [9 e+ [5 K! _* x8 B& ~that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
! Q' L2 f- f- Hcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
$ M" ^8 m0 Y$ v  Zthe Store Manager.
' F. i0 b3 O2 c: Q2 GDuties and Responsibilities
: o! \1 ]" g& u2 eCustomer Service
: m, p8 f5 E, @6 f7 d8 b2 A/ Z• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
2 Z6 G3 q- S% C$ Y• Assist customers find what they are looking for
" k4 l  r$ F" J! Z! G• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
4 Q- W. N* b" M# Q% V. p5 `, @0 C• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
, v* G: U5 ^) n; _4 _1 R3 Z$ r• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
( z* l2 ~0 a. U6 T/ j1 _) _Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
, c+ U- q1 l* y) {- ?) H! c• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
; F+ ]0 j$ W& e: C  J• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
' q. M( T4 }& X1 |6 d• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
6 k, Q' k# C/ N• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
8 x/ O  B: `  X. M- m( S& H• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

• High School graduate
: r0 {! h1 ^6 u4 q• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
) g- j2 T9 M) j• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions

• Demanding workload
Physical Requirements
• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
2 H; ~1 h1 T, T; F* ?• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
( N4 S( E) B! G. i+ b# J• Standing for extended periods of time
0 S0 Y4 ~; t* Z& }/ E7 g• Comfortable climbing ladders
