To become a probationary driver you must:

Pass the standard Alberta Class 5 road test.

No more passengers than seat belts.

Non-probationary licence (Class 5)

Pass an advanced road test.
q) M0 P8 T( k$ H! XIt will take a minimum of three years to complete both the learners and probationary stages of Graduated Driver Licensing. It will take four years if you get your Learner’s Licence at 14 years of age.
