0 W! O( ~, o/ @" SThe Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:

  i- Z  f8 H' f/ |1 `· Supervising a team of technical staff, which will include staff recruitment, setting performance expectations, evaluations, mentoring and coaching.1 w& x# i1 x: @! P, b1 ~4 |. F

  U5 p- X' y: f( x' g3 q) a· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops.

· Working with other operational areas in maintaining an ever evolving desktop support model.7 @& W0 R& r5 `, U! P' i  h

· Ensuring the Desktop Support Area is meeting /exceeding performance expectations defined in Service Level Agreements, by providing essential metrics for performance monitoring.

· Performing quality assurance for work performed, in response to customer requests.

· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.

4 _' V- S; ^; y; O7 C! ]· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.) q* l5 j  e/ {/ y! Q/ C

· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.

HOURS OF WORK:

- n9 D0 P' c+ K  t33.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.

- \3 `8 `& Z* BSALARY RANGE:
- T8 i4 V. E1 P, o4 [- Z4 g. h2 ~" @/ F4 i2 O0 w. v: l# C
21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
