The Desktop Support Team Leader is a supervisory/advisory position that is responsible for the support of the City of Edmonton desktop environment, including geographical support City wide:

) Y) }9 n7 K! D" I% R* @· Supervising a team of technical staff, which will include staff recruitment, setting performance expectations, evaluations, mentoring and coaching.% Y: v7 H2 u8 H3 T1 G. C

· Planning, coordinating and allocating staff to ensure effective & efficient support of City desktops.

· Degree or Diploma in Computing Science from a C.I.P.S. accredited institution.+ W2 K* z; B( f6 U$ J

· Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible work in systems development that would include supporting a desktop environment.

· Experience in supervision, leading,and managing a team of technical experts is essential.1 D8 j5 W8 a2 q% \6 q9 v

HOURS OF WORK:

SALARY RANGE:

21M, Salary Grade: 038, $37.02 - $46.76 (Hourly), $2,498.99 - $3,156.37 (Bi-Weekly), $65,223.51 - $82,381.19 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.4 r& h C* \7 N9 @, S: t/ ~3 [9 D
