Duties
8 U3 r1 q+ A& Y3 b1 f$ aSupports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
; t, K3 [, \ d3 ?+ x8 M4 aModifies forms and reports according to client specifications: h% z& I: f; J) |+ m& P
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts. W$ ^, M. F5 b; Y
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment' U/ O, R. g' b7 G" a W" M
Qualifications
: t" j/ V# l* B' A; Z+ q( O. IB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered( Q& W) M& W, a$ b# h
Several years related experience in a similar environment" F' k- {1 P7 Z8 j* m
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i# Z, F5 o% c7 B! a
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset* u$ q2 }! _3 a" \+ L* h8 Y8 [
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
