Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
0 {) T' E  m! r3 xment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
6 q2 P$ g; m! n$ G% _Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
, ~+ W: ?  S( w. P/ a' ^Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
/ O+ _8 P- x, p( x& j5 [1 i5 Msupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
; B9 x& e$ `% yimplementing staff wellness programs;
7 J5 w6 d) \4 x" eŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
2 s9 T# o" I. M# x. ]+ U9 _Ÿ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
0 w+ o' i$ a/ J4 Ceducation and experience;
/ O; q' n9 p2 u6 O# K2 qŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
( D0 S/ b, B7 {% O; N7 o- gŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
& k1 c7 t. I6 u( ]/ q, A3 ]Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
