Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
6 p* x- b+ a5 VManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
) }1 `9 P% t" Z" q: ]ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
8 ?8 u; V9 F6 ^( J1 _4 P. nthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
( p5 x3 Y- m+ V8 a5 CŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
7 E& j" Q2 K+ r' H+ ~implementing staff wellness programs;
7 ~1 F5 u7 a) ]5 l( _- z0 h: R4 h& L, ZŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 K1 U. R) Q! ?- H1 [5 y/ }2 tŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
5 I1 W, l# X, o  B, {Ÿ Other duties as required.
/ |  c0 U  m& m( I" G" nQualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
3 y8 S7 J3 R0 t" H, _/ w& leducation and experience;
2 ~5 S# n. O8 D5 |& y$ AŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ @2 e& \* \: Y0 _: {$ zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
6 O" S8 z4 s' X( D- ]5 x" B' fLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
