Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
; Y7 B- M7 `2 E& g7 F8 u/ Iment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
+ Z5 }/ |- |  U& b8 b, T! \The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
: `5 G, _/ G3 y9 a/ r- ~; M* @4 Cthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
- G' @; P" C  KŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
6 L4 R; _8 J& q5 D. U! DŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
. w; r4 ~4 g2 c' h# nimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
! Q3 o7 a, J+ I% cŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

9 s# w4 }+ @0 h! z# F8 H. l# jŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
1 p9 D% X9 P& v2 }: y4 G) ~; mŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
! U/ i8 {* a' o6 s$ A8 cverbal and written.
  F  ~0 c9 Q$ e0 Q) r# e( G! ALac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
0 P- @* O- s9 y1 H4 x  m1 D4 p$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
7 O- w' G; F2 P# g7 Vsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
