Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
* u4 }# h/ v; t) Jment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
  P6 f. k  o2 ?7 q! ^0 U1 UŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
3 `+ s9 p  E; c9 Ethe organization;
0 [& E  G  |& p# L$ _0 Y" ]1 XŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
, L. F: s; N$ M$ f# i8 _Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
  d% {& d' K* Tsupport;
% H; A" ~( G( C( C* \/ s# L! e- j$ |Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
9 k# L0 C$ [8 b4 UŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
. |. l& R+ }- PŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
% O& z# Q+ w0 g4 q$ ~. C2 I2 wŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
" x1 B  C5 o% |+ L+ w- HŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
  v/ f) g1 Y/ B* a0 zŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
# Q$ y: r( ~. p) `Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
- K6 }9 T* E; H0 Z7 R' {$ u1 `$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
