Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
$ j* n* j- v; ?8 s  B( @4 jManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
5 w' G8 H; |' O% @: TThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical

+ q) {! v# P3 F1 UŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
) n# q4 r+ U/ s5 ?  P* ~Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
' k1 x$ T' b% i& y  `Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
0 G9 ^5 q: C/ }, I; ~  g5 \Ÿ Other duties as required.

Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
# ^# f  [: I5 ^7 B9 O7 qeducation and experience;
5 R- H1 j* p! q9 lŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
$ @* o, E* r& B) G0 pŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
" S. }& q+ h. J/ m* Y) AŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
* T' n7 c3 |) F; p" t- Y' L& cverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
9 Q( Y& j9 T- Y& |$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
