Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
. J- n  K9 J( l! bThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
  g) H1 t( m; z1 H, wŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
7 w, Z3 y1 J. ysupport;
1 ]* _; V+ ]- q, U( ZŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
8 {. Q0 e' S, |# v) c0 ?0 iimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
" G* ?, ?* R  ^+ z; `- ?& S+ i& U) ZŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
7 ]% D3 {' T& d0 k2 AŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
) a6 {  A- J& s( p8 A  IŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
0 @6 y. T$ h" ]% V: Z; S' fŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
( `8 A  o& U0 D% M7 SLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
! E0 U3 F! M1 z2 M+ h7 h; h5 U$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

* ]: I; j8 O  J/ D& Usuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
