Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
0 H# v* M  y/ h5 d; [1 B6 tManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
4 A& U# }- m4 v* Q0 n. ?' iment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
2 c; d% R8 X/ F# bThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
8 |, l0 t" w4 @( M* U- E2 O% h4 DŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
+ _. Y4 O$ @+ a) F! X$ E9 {Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
# x; a$ [8 \0 @0 ?* S1 [/ }Ÿ Other duties as required.

$ Z7 y/ p* f# b! I( W, ]) E/ k8 hŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
4 B0 Z. E! K: Z' u" Leducation and experience;
' P: p/ q3 a: C, p  j/ uŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
9 ]! e5 q* h& T' F; lŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
! g' |2 x) e) K7 xverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
, I9 {* p/ g# q7 |6 H$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
3 M# M/ |7 F3 E6 N$ xsuccessful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
3 C5 z. k& F% M5 ~0 \% x' mdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
