. x* B' G1 {2 _ M6 f7 \0 R Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth., n4 |0 t0 Y$ T# r" a# g! [8 E
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site./ H/ g# n& j9 N5 @. y4 c
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
% ^" `1 m! a8 \ Completing required paperwork.# M0 N* O+ m r
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.8 u6 e s7 J$ T3 Q; Y8 P$ K
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
& J5 m2 L5 S+ z0 }* C9 X Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. ) H- r! E0 j# y: v4 J J; E
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
! y6 Z& j+ z/ U( n7 c; j: [* Q Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.( p+ V4 f, m: y3 f; g
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

Qualifications:
6 d/ u' i' A& H8 t+ O" p- E. A K d S2 n7 i* s
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
% M/ M6 \: E( t& a0 k Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
( Y% V) D- R7 G3 d! E" O Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
& ~' ]4 q2 n3 h$ {8 T9 [ Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.1 x- O w6 j. I. R6 V
 Knowledge of community resources.
, [ N) X" p+ K Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.) i' c/ U1 ]+ L
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
