• Process research equipment design;
' [8 |5 C/ {5 x5 x; h, e/ f• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;( | c6 G: x5 V
• Equipment fabrication guidance;+ F! N: g. A- e2 M
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;# @" e# G- m& A+ ?- I; q

Qualifications:
: g# A: n* T# [' J# N• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. ) l+ K- Q7 x0 [
• Equipment design experience is required;$ K: K' k9 p0 r# O7 R; n R
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;; z+ E; @. O* D$ `( j+ ^5 ?/ k
• Familiar with CAD software; |1 I' r: [, z, ?% y ^6 P0 W" e
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;8 k$ x+ e+ t; c7 [) M: O
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:6 a8 y3 v; Y7 A( U* k) R* f
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
