Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Key Responsibilities:

; m3 G3 h1 \8 w! \* Y; rWorking with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
( _8 k, e* @% b7 _Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
, a) ]6 z& p& R. [, \9 IResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

Qualifications
8 P; Y$ b" P+ e+ I. `* a
Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
- Y8 e4 `% p/ C! O5 O5 jMinimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
9 l2 I7 a$ z, v6 C& QUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
& O( h" S& r7 i8 `0 N3 oCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
