Youth Empowered to Succeed Project

Tagbaema Society is a non-profit organization that provides a wide range of outreach
services to families and technical assistance to ethno-cultural organizations in managing
! K9 I; [3 C6 L: H4 Wtheir development.

. ^% c6 S; p1 b. G- ATagbaema is looking for two young and energetic individuals who would like to get first
) y& ?1 v3 L! u. P9 x2 N5 |hand experience, assisting with the development and implementation of the Youth
Empowered to Succeed: A Push for Better Future Project. Your role will be to establish a
5 h; r4 u- b7 j2 E8 G/ Oyouth steering committee and coordinate its activities. You will also be directly involved
4 \  y% }: L; e4 b$ fin the implementation of the project and will work on our productions and activities. You
: C# p3 u! P# k* }+ L) P7 aare expected to perform some administrative tasks including marketing upcoming events,
' E% u8 ^5 K3 l0 f9 a% f5 Gbalancing budgets and making arrangements for future events. You will report and be
& x( Q: u- x7 G( y/ K2 _% t5 V' x3 |accountable to the project coordinator.

The youth leaders will be needed about 18 hours a week, with hours flexible to own
schedule but will include some evenings and weekends. A commitment of 1 full year is
( G, ~/ m1 y8 J" Zdesirable.

Qualifications  
18 – 21 years old with good personal and teamwork skills  
" k( i1 u$ Y$ j. y6 SKeen ability to organize and lead
Regular attendance at meetings  
Relate well with other youth and adults
Willing to be mentored and trained

$15 per hour plus benefits
