The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. 2 G# u!   T" Y, p- W4 l' Y% v0 mThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.  V- R6 E1 o( J1 l+ K* \

+ W3 v9 m2 o; i& ^1 s1 PJob Responsibilities:

% B* r: h2 `, ~Reception:  k4 F: n1 T9 y) J
•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required. q6 ]" |- c( b/ L. S8 U# k
•        Answer multi line telephone system" H; L  G9 [) B1 O6 r  V' U  u' e% E
7 i" c. Z# N5 h: _
Administration:
6 R% @7 l! ]2 `: b$ a•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
: q$ t1 |, p5 Q* {# j•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits7 G( q' u' f: u) I3 P, z5 X: D- g% u2 M" M
•        Input and manage high volume of data
5 Z* @9 f4 n7 x+ n6 k- T) `•        Update and maintain databases/ {5 y6 v6 ^7 T  W. m
•        Generate monthly reports and statistics
' [7 I0 F, C: R- w- [% b•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
- b2 b3 F* q7 M2 }1 i5 t•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits
8 c) c$ M0 e/ ^! j* n•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms
! ]6 i# x/ z7 q' z3 j1 ?$ ]•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors! p' M7 j9 K% k8 _' q
•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre/ k: M0 p) v# y9 F
•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

! _5 s, l( y! f' SQualifications:
. e0 g* ~: z: W. x2 Q- t
( A/ G4 d& ~0 {& W2 ^3 n) W•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
" P  C, x: L) [+ V•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 2 W! K9 Y0 V& y  x: J! ?
•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills) m& D* {& d( |1 X, ?. `$ R
•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work" `/ o; @3 p$ o# R$ i0 R, h* h/ [
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population
4 ~7 J# t& |& u/ {: K•        Strong customer service skills- e' u9 u9 Q( Q# s" s" I8 f
•        Strong organizational skills and abilities
0 J/ K" x' m! k6 Q1 D! Z•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
