The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. j- Q% |% J* ?" M2 B
# L/ M" P1 G, X4 Z& l IThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
. n) l# U2 H) q( H, ?• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
" r8 d2 N n6 ~1 a1 n5 }• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads. o- x, I% |0 a& t# W
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
6 \$ E8 \4 s0 f' x6 o• Input and manage high volume of data6 D% |* Z% y( {+ i5 b8 D2 }
• Update and maintain databases. A. U$ X. g; |& Q. R* N7 M& R
• Generate monthly reports and statistics& _) ^& h/ o3 B1 `3 f) S* Y
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
6 ]; P( U" G3 E7 J9 S; G/ T• Process payments and complete weekly deposits: ?; W+ E! _3 r' b, b F, {$ |" N
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms0 h* A/ V3 D1 r
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors6 E) u3 J& L8 C, \
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre) e& a4 i" D! T2 y$ ^( E% x. f
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients0 M( f! ?' {0 S" o
) A$ ]$ U2 P. s6 _: u8 ~Qualifications:
& M1 U! H% U7 ~3 f4 h# |& X* J& S7 o
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
, h7 T2 ]! i* y6 f/ t: T# o) R: e# p• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS 5 \% b+ W5 x" P6 @" E* v
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
! W6 a9 { x1 g* G D• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
m/ b D5 \+ @/ j2 o9 `• Able to interact positively with a diverse population, h1 h8 N. `) B2 W( K- n/ _
• Strong customer service skills
