The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

9 B7 E' z* f& wThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team., h+ f4 a* E7 u) {

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required9 j0 N8 y! s5 V; T2 A# U
• Answer multi line telephone system5 [* @0 q' R/ W3 L9 z! G
2 F; L% a% [' L$ b X# l) jAdministration:9 K$ d( c0 _: S8 V
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads( n4 a6 b* @8 C2 S7 G! z
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits n {1 B' ]; o- J8 r& E+ M% `
• Input and manage high volume of data4 e+ Y, y/ i& Q+ f4 C/ X; i% C
• Update and maintain databases
0 M% M) n' {7 M2 |2 B# N/ N• Generate monthly reports and statistics
0 X) y& n/ e8 n( ~3 N• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation, }6 P- v s' |
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
& \$ N7 [8 T7 g. g• Write and revise business correspondence and forms7 K5 n* z( Y1 h5 B' ]; a) o
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors( q1 k0 g' C4 r; R8 z' s
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
: k C; H7 I+ Q* f4 j: A7 x: F• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients+ o, K# j: M. b

Qualifications:
! r2 q( `" L7 w7 f6 ~7 V% E
+ H$ } t7 j9 p) r; P• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
; P: O/ Y( g# e: ^+ g• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS & c$ |3 O9 p. Q4 X) K
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills' |1 }5 d* l) ?
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
) p! r; B! @+ h: t; ]• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
/ h4 M) U9 w' h; [# W; o• Strong customer service skills4 a- p, t* v2 t" R4 a
• Strong organizational skills and abilities# L x4 _" u1 R
• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset! h2 x8 k( Q5 B# \; c
