The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. / |$ `) Y% N. z

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

! |" \) L) s. f: }• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required5 i' R8 a1 X( t {8 ^) A6 C
• Answer multi line telephone system) f$ f# w% B: o. r
7 A! U; }, i9 Z' BAdministration:- F" x# |- Z0 S: g! Z9 f9 [
• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads& `2 |. n0 E/ X. O) G, h- t6 I
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits2 F2 _$ P6 y7 b" o/ H' p
• Input and manage high volume of data
/ T; X( `- [+ ]# ~2 m• Update and maintain databases
4 I0 ]2 X# E) }- I; k/ w5 H• Generate monthly reports and statistics
/ j4 O) |* ^& x1 w) u0 }( O• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation

• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
8 j# ?( Z- q- o- s) n" j• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors2 W& e4 t& |' n& l, u
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre- c+ W$ M5 E& y2 M o; ]$ r" N
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:4 d& `; I9 V. A; I. D6 q" X
% p- n0 Z7 Q+ ^- N$ C6 ]• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
; s0 i) Q7 c5 S5 G$ M' q• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS T- ]/ }) A) O% e2 B5 d9 _! a
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; }4 ]7 z4 b4 j4 E
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work6 G2 l D5 |( x* k, I
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population7 [- U0 J' S B( p3 @" U
• Strong customer service skills" {0 K0 g( S" Z/ y9 \* b
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
