The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals.  The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.  The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team." P" ], y5 M" m

Job Responsibilities:

Reception:
& i* P- d' n! m6 X! T•        Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as         required
/ k% K0 }/ b  [3 Q0 Y9 k+ `•        Answer multi line telephone system- P8 D" X1 O7 r" {, B( {

1 m. [& X; e% o4 ]Administration:
: Z# U" g2 g( w% B•        Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
9 h6 j0 V2 A) n3 `( k( p  W•        File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits4 c- ^6 F4 k  S- n" V: P
•        Input and manage high volume of data
1 Z& }* i' r4 @8 z( A•        Update and maintain databases
6 X# g, r% a) ?# t& {•        Generate monthly reports and statistics- w+ I' U1 V& A9 i4 i' G  ~
•        Organize and directly support group materials and documentation9 Q& |9 }( n2 V) n- \2 s$ M
•        Process payments and complete weekly deposits- t2 `' C$ ~7 y, A
•        Write and revise business correspondence and forms
* K1 e/ H1 i8 F6 e! a•        Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail         outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors; c6 |; z3 _/ m8 j7 O
•        Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre8 ~! J. O7 N) }( Q
•        Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

* ?) M& k" d' u( q% P9 @Qualifications:
+ D/ i0 U+ H' `+ B+ L7 l1 v1 q0 a3 z5 {' L! ]' K  c
•        Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
6 }! c/ ]9 D7 [4 k3 W•        Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
- c& ^  |) J) L% _) q8 s•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills
# X' H5 R+ L% [8 V3 V( o•        Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work; w2 A6 S6 i" F( L& ~
•        Able to interact positively with a diverse population$ s6 D* C  m4 ^- h) M, ]& I4 M
•        Strong customer service skills
: Y5 }' u2 K/ [8 h5 q, j•        Strong organizational skills and abilities
" Q0 g. D9 R" \6 r4 U3 Z& _•        Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
