. O( G5 I( o0 i6 A: `* i, w Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.- D9 x/ E, w' h
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.) s+ C/ g. r6 U' N: \9 l
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.! l+ s5 U3 }6 w1 J8 c! i; ?0 ^
 Completing required paperwork.
) L7 i9 ~) ?+ p) j Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
" O/ I5 d, S. w) @- O5 n$ i! R: { Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
% }* |$ o3 F' m Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
. E* ~4 |" M' q2 r2 o Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
# L; m2 w2 B" s$ C" a" z7 I Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.3 l5 i$ Q/ ?# I5 l$ a. N
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.! B4 s! v5 E! y
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

' f- s* b! ]" h8 K2 V% M Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
* i# w7 t/ l- ?; ~( \ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.5 u2 Y5 b* z7 Z$ R1 w% u
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
" P" g6 K4 \" V2 z0 w Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.5 ]7 S2 I5 @9 T3 H, U
 Knowledge of community resources.! r% n6 t0 z. i1 W' q! l7 V5 _) O% h
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
* ` C( v. Y/ J' z Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

( w4 z7 i5 W. l8 _) h) CPosition:
# Y& K+ F# o+ i/ \% MThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
/ f0 Z4 m( `: j& h3 @" O( S3 SThere is a 3-month probationary period.
# {1 S X% _2 t W+ F: _ _Closing Date: January 31, 2006.
