Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

" a/ K2 ~* m9 B! \; I: F# W: w) D+ j% y+ U■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
5 t) ?# K% Z. L. z: @■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
8 j4 E  c/ C. B5 x+ k■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
& g* i: t: O# H- m( E4 Q2 M9 V, k■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
1 J$ H; i2 w& O- }■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
. y# T# N8 {' n# o1 a: o& f) [■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
9 Q, d' }- z+ W. m& S■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
