Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
* g3 X( B8 K/ j■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.9 `, j" G a% m$ B5 v
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.; m; h7 u/ `6 J$ g7 K! x* N
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships# _) ~, S3 q/ i: q8 T0 ^5 s/ j6 J
Experience and Education:% D9 C+ F/ a5 @# E6 O7 J! `
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
0 p' k k* p! f4 ]5 Y, j■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.' O3 |! _9 c: F# K" {) n; l
■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* P3 D2 b$ o B U+ ~: C' _4 }■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
: f) e; f" C% J; k3 Y( M2 }■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
3 o& m, @, j3 Z8 d; ^$ G4 f& h■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
* G5 q; X* V7 J! M6 g■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
