Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

7 O, A3 U* w9 S5 OResponsibilities
& k# r8 @; y& M9 e: @( B■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
# ^! b! G7 M' N) d■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
2 f" n/ c8 L* O- V+ A, k% d■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
% V. F( p* {! ?. v( p8 l0 C0 \Experience and Education:
+ P+ l: [: y8 _; u$ u0 H; {■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
# ^# d+ O8 v: R■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
3 \1 V" X" j9 U" k■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
* J( \7 m& N0 h, {: e, h) p■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
1 z- K+ ]) T' {- A■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
5 q$ X* y/ C1 ]) D■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
