移民签证时护照的有效期限

申请技术移民，今年7月初在edmonton体检，一直在等待。

请问如果近期收到passport request，寄去做移民签证的话，是否护照有效期必须是6个月以上呢？

应该不用的吧，没有哪个地方说护照有效期要有6个月的。

Passport Requirements:

We require an original VALID passport for yourself and every accompanying family
member. Passports for you and all accompanying family members should be submitted
$ x/ D# h  k" wtogether.

, T+ y. M! t/ G. U5 SThere must be at least two blank visa pages in each passport.

2 w' q) f" v, Q3 V% W  B# |If there are children included in your passport there must be visa pages for them as well.

Please note: Immigrant visas cannot be placed in Diplomatic, Official or Military
passports.
