Duties
5 {& z" G: `: m2 p. V; WAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)/ E$ A5 Q% d8 B, j2 C9 x
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required$ R ?! b/ Q }
Performs other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed B* G6 G7 [. x- r3 B- v
Performs related tasks as needed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred+ u# R, L1 B2 i* r9 _) Y% j; o0 C
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred
5 C# J$ g+ {& x& ESolid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset* i Q' _+ C, M) f7 q f
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred; k$ ?: C6 C3 ?6 h$ J; k
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit& P; l4 z/ e( I) c$ Z
Relevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
