Assists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)- W9 M4 Z4 `3 w9 R3 R2 w
Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
4 T, O# C; ]+ APerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed

Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred3 U/ V# Y2 ?; g4 _ {) k6 N( H! `
Demonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred0 c3 L+ b- ~$ g3 Y2 n$ F- g
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset: b. ~) m. w; U/ S& m* @" `
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred
9 v: n) m9 I/ W, o/ HFamiliarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
