Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items

& \5 g9 C8 {* U; p9 k% Y4 CEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
7 W% |$ P0 o1 TPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
& C8 r4 O( P7 F$ P9 h# C- @0 P" HOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
2 }! g) B% O: s+ O3 Z3 lValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.. t2 g. `: U7 k$ e9 z' B
High School diploma; previous driving experience required( h6 H% o3 I1 P5 _0 A& x" d& c1 Y
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification2 d4 I7 d- @! W& h
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
