  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
2 K9 K6 U7 w3 Z2 [& tObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
. J! P) r9 j( N, n9 ~Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
Prioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
* ~: x% X0 n% `1 u( b+ AOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

4 O* w; C2 e- z, a( DValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

& R& _( T1 P/ }& E4 tCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
