: b$ L0 C* m; h7 e8 u6 W7 p Complete comprehensive intake and needs assessment process and develop referral and case plans to support newcomers in fully settling and participating in the community  
 Continue to follow-up with newcomers, EMCN staff and other service providers to ensure newcomers’ needs are met     
 Provide holistic counselling to individuals and families, including hands-on support with accessing resources and resolving difficult issues
 Advocate on newcomers’ behalf to programs, institutions and service providers
 Research and maintain current information about programs and resources available in the community
 Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with staff of programs and services in the city and ensure EMCN clients access the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs
 Work as a team with EMCN staff to ensure holistic supports are provided to newcomers.

 Social work degree or diploma
7 m3 H. u: w# U0 O; }7 b Current RSW designation preferred   
 Demonstrated experience with holistic case management and supportive counselling
* i/ w* t; E- w2 r Knowledge of and experience in accessing a wide range of programs, services and supports available in the City  
 Ability to effectively listen, assess needs and guide people in a supportive manner
( g  g( [8 L" [ Sensitivity to cross-cultural issues
/ z' @% o: x$ E# x$ J Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
& u' D% A, g" P/ f$ o2 ]3 | Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
