. }9 y) o: d: r2 T+ @* C; GDevelops and updates the graphic user interface including program interface (menus, dialogue boxes, file editing, etc.) using C++ or Java or other languages to allow users to compose run scripts and edit input files for a FORTRAN model
, @0 ?7 U3 n9 N$ _$ \8 i; ]- _Generates dynamic visualization of numerical output from the model using VTK or other visualization tools, linked to explanatory documents
! x7 M# `8 g( N! r0 n: zWorks with staff in the MACI to determine ways to deal with the data and find innovative approaches of presenting results# [( M$ o. i {% e
Implements interface and visualization on portable media (CD and website) for use in research and teaching; implements the mathematical model "ecosy" in parallel mode on computing facilities available
- d) l- y: `7 r* B% I( F& qProvides technical support to teaching initiatives at undergraduate and postgraduate levels using the mathematical model with the graphic user interface' Y$ e4 i1 }0 H" E+ C& v
Installs software and provides user support; liaises with users to enable their productive use of the software

Programming in C++ and Unix, website development and maintenance
