Position Summary
* d6 {9 [9 Q. JUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
; {2 O0 w$ A! G. X# j0 _! Rplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal; q2 V" T+ }2 a& f
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).7 Z P/ q; C( P
& z) [( Z- Q7 Z* Y- e
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.! ]2 |; ^' e) I" l

Job Qualification
- t7 Q; C* c4 i) NMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services* n$ f+ b' S- w: j9 H& ^
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s7 P2 @+ r6 _# N& X) P/ A
School)
/ q* O1 w8 r5 G$ s( d: o& K& CMust have supervisory experience
/ ~4 Q/ n* B5 b4 q6 v6 [Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system; \4 T& z, `( V1 [5 r
Must be computer literate
1 `% C P3 ]9 u$ `Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
3 t8 N& A) Q$ w4 _! ?' }Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
