Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team" \; v _* X" l. C/ {1 m5 l$ I
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
, H7 o: I: w* [' [% cMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

( ^! j4 e8 v' r2 h- l N8 @- c4 PTo assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit." y* c, t$ @- f% p
! N# i; O) x7 s- o$ A* mJob Qualification' a: l9 h0 p& n3 f& _5 e
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services) E6 m& E. I" H( s$ v
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s) }: @! a: h1 O! k+ s* y
School)9 y% t0 }$ ?2 w- D) s; G9 T
Must have supervisory experience4 _" _& c3 K3 A8 o
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
4 B+ O, M9 X* D# b: K7 ?Must be computer literate
% o: J: f3 q6 l) LMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.8 B5 N: U& k- j+ G5 f# j
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network$ m! Y7 s( X1 U
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills3 y( f% U4 q" G$ z9 x
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already4 ?2 n# { o+ D2 h" \. f
