Position Summary
% q# u2 j# s/ e4 @Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
' x) d! M' E. }* I" j0 Wplayer, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
* |' I: a; z1 AMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.- H4 f# Q2 r$ g' i

Job Qualification' H8 d( t9 s" V
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services6 S8 t. R! ~" E; \" i
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
$ Z/ t$ V5 u+ n: J& c; q! A- X' ]School)$ N8 i# e6 z2 B1 N6 `
Must have supervisory experience
$ q- G' M7 r/ q1 j9 q; kMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system% I5 |7 M6 n5 u- s7 z M3 J3 a5 J
Must be computer literate( G7 W6 {3 w4 r' e7 C7 X- F" o
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.* R9 E, l0 y( `' ^( P7 E2 t
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network1 d+ i m+ C- ^" o7 K/ v$ a
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
