Creating Hope is recruiting for a part-time TO a full-time project coordinator for the Aboriginal Mothers Project. ) U' c3 B2 C6 k) K# f- |- BUnder general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).
) {, }; |2 P( F7 N1 w" X
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
: w) H  U4 a  u* `% m9 |1 l, R8 yMust possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
Must be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
; S: m; y+ r+ s- ]7 ^& ^School)
Must have supervisory experience
& A! f$ D+ W& y6 bMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
Must be computer literate
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
5 ?, u( Y5 G9 p# M" qMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
6 y" {; H9 j) f: }Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
" P( P+ e( \9 \  C& x' o% Yestablish team.
