Graphic Design Specialist

This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

' K5 J# V, ]$ nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
/ u4 T# U; V! m8 J: V! I•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
; v' h  c9 Y! A6 R•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
. G( o3 e( A0 b; w) H$ ?# x& B•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
+ S4 u! C) E& r( d4 L•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.
; L' N# q) M8 _2 J* r2 Q•        Proficiency in use of the English language.

•        Ability to effectively multitask and work under pressure.
