An arrest has been made in connection to the death of a York University student last week.

Police charged Brian Dickson, 29, with first-degree murder in connection to the suspicious death of Qian Liu.% t2 j+ p7 L& f, v: w3 B% K

The 23-year-old was found dead in her basement apartment late last week. ( e5 E# a8 d% r, I1 J1 [9 B7 d4 E
4 p( H! K9 C' \5 o; t% K MIn a brief news conference Wednesday, police announced that Dickson had been arrested, but appealed to media not to publish his photo.
