Providing daily locomotive maintenance that includes changing oil or repairing, replacing, cleaning and adjusting parts
Assembling and starting engines

Good eye-hand coordination
Frequently lifting weights up to 50 pounds
Occasionally lifting weights up to 100 pounds

- g4 a# v; u2 ]; v0 }Visual acuity and hearing threshold tests are required for this position. Written pre-employment tests to become a Machinist Apprentice are required for this position. Completion of 3-year apprenticeship is required to become a Journeyman Machinist. This position is subject to night, weekend and holiday work hours when needed.
