Position Profile Heavy Duty Mechanics inspect, service, and maintain diesel locomotives in accordance with federal and company regulations.

6 p* d. a1 D/ AProviding daily locomotive maintenance that includes changing oil or repairing, replacing, cleaning and adjusting parts

Diagnosing locomotive component malfunctions

3 k. a; R; }) FVisual acuity and hearing threshold tests are required for this position. Written pre-employment tests to become a Machinist Apprentice are required for this position. Completion of 3-year apprenticeship is required to become a Journeyman Machinist. This position is subject to night, weekend and holiday work hours when needed.
