 Promote Bredin Institute’s mission, vision, values and strategic objectives.# [, S/ ]2 s  X( [/ [
 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers' S. I- i. P; j% h/ B! M% U
 Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan.3 V# A  m$ s" \' p. D! k/ v
 Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers.  L* C, {7 Z$ W) G& c. O2 V
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.0 @( A& u% J9 _/ e
 Ensure that newcomers know and understand their entitlements.8 S" I  J& q% Q) h; @

 Deliver program overview to potential clients, as well as other interested parties.

 Provide referral information on other services that may be more suitable for the client.

 Complete participant reviews with the participants
! m$ F$ K# ~$ ?+ Y- o3 U Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
