 Continuously interact with all clients in the Resource Area to ensure that their job search requirements are being met.

 Maintain all resources in the Resource Room insuring that they are current and relevant.9 ]3 o' Z8 ~; d) w

 Encourage independence and self determination in newcomers
' M; N5 d/ {- w8 e Work with newcomers in assessing their needs and a needs-based settlement plan.
: q) @# G+ d" t# c; d" [7 m Liaise effectively with a range of service providers, both voluntary and statutory, in order to ensure services are available to newcomers., ~% |- I5 c7 e9 o0 {! U. u( ^: s, z
 Accompany newcomers to other agencies and to act as advocate as necessary.% w& _, Y) Q. d

 Screen and assess clients’ skills and abilities through a workability assessment.

 Assist clients with obtaining required documentation for working in their profession in Canada

 Complete participant reviews with the participants
9 d7 p, C2 h4 h" U Complete 90 and 180 day follow up with client after training completion
