- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- d* e; o4 ^+ y/ ?5 [; o2 x- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
  s# q. s  ?9 @6 }- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
' i& `( v) N: \1 o7 r1 r. O- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
; {& h; Z8 Y- o# M- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
3 K5 ~' X) X+ }( B- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
2 e5 W; b7 {0 ^8 x- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
) R# t( F& ?# T# Y- other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
! |" ^8 ^3 {7 E" O9 Q; W: W- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
  \$ k# o: g% _" Y3 ?* a7 [" e- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
! {1 c4 M$ Z1 C+ U  `9 r. X( P- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
. f7 w9 o+ w8 G  ]4 u; n9 a- good interpersonal and people skills
- good organizational and coordination skills
- A- y, S# p) t& V- valid driver’s license

Salary
