- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
) n8 V0 q; W5 s9 ^5 ^# s- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
6 j/ k) _ k- C1 ?- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP# X. u! ~1 h+ C$ M2 H' S
- provide support to ISP staff5 i: r1 a2 a9 o, n' P% C5 H5 Y
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
1 `/ }- E* t0 K" j5 _$ j5 C; X- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities* b* s4 i( X) b5 A$ L
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
5 @% P) P( } ]- M2 {- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
5 w9 g' X% g3 y6 q# P, o- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals

- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.

- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
" U o0 n( P/ a- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
/ W; L4 t) I* Z0 O6 k, q- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers0 P u" J5 k, S0 u
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- n6 R9 Z- G( `5 h" j- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)% T- ^9 w7 w8 T0 Y
- good interpersonal and people skills4 r2 V& ^2 i# |4 I! w3 a% d
- good organizational and coordination skills1 \& Z; }* q! b, H2 T
- valid driver’s license
