Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
( Q3 J" Q1 Q0 i$ y* i- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
! ~8 O2 ^! n! @- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.! v$ o0 z4 u( O* g% ^6 G9 r
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.0 V0 L. ~: V, F+ y0 P( k' T
