Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:0 f0 O7 w- e# ?0 X: z6 N
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;$ N! n- M, M' V/ p$ b7 X% K
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.$ W' Y. l+ r4 v
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.8 [ e, u7 F1 W' j2 T
