Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:5 ^( s5 n0 U. c1 q$ |0 B. l0 M e; @
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;3 ^% u) |% d$ O/ ]! R2 ?
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.4 |7 w% |! e) R" Q+ v
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.9 q( v4 q$ K% H) [ O3 C
