Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:. v9 s9 O3 u+ P
- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;; t. R* N4 a3 e$ ]4 `
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.. f& C' N! b5 F$ g" }+ i) E( ^* G9 b
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.! i0 i" _: ^% _, D: y; N7 |
