The Position
The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
. ?0 y; H. D/ ^: I" u; Jskilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
0 Z! ]0 W: f" [- wDuties and responsibilities
( w% P% E! A+ E$ _General
9 T4 D: K' W4 @* V• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
development, distributes and files same
• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
! v, ], a6 n6 y& O3 k4 |• Archives files
" m2 K) ^9 k1 V# q: g• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
• Appointment and meeting scheduling
• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
  l" |3 K1 }) X3 I; w  E$ P0 p* f* {6 Q• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office

• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required
Accounting
( J7 f2 v# e; |6 @6 [• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports

7 V# C* q, v* B* Z0 t! p, _• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)

Hours of Work
• Part time – 24 hours per week.

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
Community Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
Mission: To provide healthy, affordable and vibrant work spaces for Edmonton non-profit organizations, as we dream,
grow and work together.

: r1 [& Y) E2 xdeveloping a sustainable, multi-tenant centre promoting synergy, innovation and community spirit.
Once constructed, the Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit will become a small, working village of charitable
organizations sharing resources and talents for enhanced program delivery. It will provide affordable and dynamic office
and warehouse space to non-profit organizations in need -- and become a legacy of goodwill for decades to come.
